At a visioning/planning meeting members and friends of the Ashcroft and District Chamber of Commerce spent time thinking about how our Chamber could best serve our community.
One of our key priorities this year will be to develop a communication strategy that will allow all the businesses in our area to know what is happening and be able to benefit from the networking potentials that exist.
We will be requesting all businesses to submit a profile of their operations and key people for inclusion in the members section of this site. We will be developing an updateable calendar of activities and events so we will be able to let visitors and guests know what a dynamic community we live in. We will look for assistance in connecting this information in search engines and potentially having apps developed so people may find your business with the smart devices.
This summer the Chamber will again coordinate the operation of the local Tourist information booth. We are hoping to be able to hire students to assist us with covering this, however, we will still need volunteers to to fill in for their days off and to give us longer hours so that we may serve more people.
